Some people may look at my photo and question whether I’m old enough to be doing this job, and hey, fair enough! I want to say up front that I have more professional and life experience than my age (early thirties) may suggest. Whether you have something from the past that’s holding you back, a problem that’s troubling you today, or a vision for the future with an uncertain path forward, I’m here to help. People often come to me to work on: overcoming the impacts of trauma; boundary setting; improving relationships; connecting with values and identities; and feeling more confident managing stress and anxiety.
During our time together, we will collaborate by drawing on each of our skills to move you toward your goals. This work may involve addressing your thoughts, feelings, and actions; harnessing the power of your nervous system to get unstuck; or even specialized trauma treatments if appropriate. Whatever we do will be customized to you and your needs.
I don’t pretend to know everything, but as a life-long nerd, I’m more than willing to do my homework. I strive to be open to people and their worlds, and I work hard to back up my “friendly” claims with actual knowledge. If there’s something you want to talk about because it’s part of what makes you “you,” then I’d be honoured to hear more.
