Are you searching for more meaning in your life? Are you feeling stuck and overwhelmed, consumed by past or current experiences? Are you recognizing that you’re repeating unwanted patterns despite all efforts? Let’s talk!

My 15 years of experience as a registered nurse has allowed me to witness all facets of the human condition and has taken me across Canada and around the globe working in a variety of settings. I have had the privilege of walking alongside my patients in their moments of greatest joy and of deepest sorrow. A common theme has emerged throughout my career, that all humans are capable of overcoming the most unimaginable pain and suffering and that there can be resilience and growth in all experiences. As a therapist, it is through this lens that I bring a compassionate, non-judgmental perspective to my clients, helping them to witness and understand themselves and their experiences more deeply. Events and experiences can often make us feel stuck, incapable of moving forward, or repeating familiar patterns. I help clients “unstuck” themselves, come to see themselves as perfectly imperfect beings, and live authentically according to their highest values.

I work with a variety of methods and tools to help my clients gain perspective and control of their lives. These include trauma reprocessing using eye movement integration (EMI), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Imago Therapy, values determination, mindfulness, Bowen family systems, and humanist and attachment-based perspectives. My areas of focus include trauma, relationships/couples, addiction, grief, loss, anxiety, OCD in its various forms, and transitional life moments including separation/divorce.

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes
